About us
My Rez Life was created out of a lifelong fascination with native culture. My blog is a platform for sharing authentic stories, cultural insights, and meaningful experiences from life on the reservation experienced during my two-week fellowship. During the fellowship I will visit The Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, and the Crow, and Northern Cheyenne reservations in Montana. It is my hope that by experiencing reservation culture and the challenges faced by the people living on the reservation, I will gain a more in-depth understanding of the complicated history between the indigenous people of North America and the European colonizers.
